Three days from the date of receipt (date of receipt included). In case of urgency, the case is to be submitted as early as possible.  However, priority is to be given to court cases, RTI cases, SAQ and other cases for which action needs to be completed within given time frame.

The branch head is required to examine the case submitted by the dealing assistant in accordance with rules, regulations and orders in the matter  and submit the file with suggestion to MD or dispose the matter as per delegation of power to the branch head.

Within 3 days of submission of dak (including date of submission)

The branch head is required to submit the file to Mission Directorate  with his/her suggestion as early as possible after examining the case and record movement of file at his/her level.

Above time frame is tentative for normal dak/business of the Mission.  All concerned should endeavour to dispose the matter in hand as early as possible.  In deserving and exceptional cases, there may be delay in disposal of the matter, but the same should be within the knowledge of the branch head.
